Rendez-vous with tradition with La Devétéya de Cogne

One of the most long-awaited weekends is coming: the one that marks the end of summer season in Cogne valley.

It's Devétéya, the descent of the herds from higher alpine pastures. An event that succeeds in combining nature, culture and traditions...you can't miss it!

Saturday 28th September

Parade of the herds in the town centre with the folkloric group Lou Tintamaro de Cogne.
Market of typical procucts and handcraft.

Sunday 29th September

Mass and benediction of the animals, with the folkloric group Lou Tintamaro Enfants.

Les Saveurs de l'Alpage

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th it will also be possible to taste the thematic menus "Les Saveurs de l'Alpage" at lunch and dinner.
Those menus have been specially conceived for the occasion by Cogne restaurants that adhere to the initiative.
